Worked example

Monday plus 1 business day is Tuesday. If Tuesday is excluded, Monday plus 2 business days lands on Thursday: the excluded day is skipped and doesn't count toward the total, so the calculator lands one day later than a naive count would suggest.

Does the start date count as day zero?: Yes, when solving for a deadline or start date: the start (or deadline) itself counts as the reference point, and business days are counted from there.
