If New Year's Day, a US preset holiday, falls on a Friday within the selected range, it removes exactly one working day, since the count without holidays applied minus the count with holidays applied shows that single-day difference directly, and the holiday itself is listed by name and date. A range spanning both New Year's Day and Independence Day instead removes two working days total, with both holidays listed separately in the same breakdown.

Common mistakes

• Assuming the bundled holiday data is a legal or contractual determination. It is static calendrical convenience data, not a substitute for an employer's, court's, or jurisdiction's own authoritative source.
• Expecting every regional subdivision's specific observance to be included. Only the listed national-level regions are covered by this dataset.

It does not establish whether a specific employer, contract, court, or jurisdiction actually treats a given date as non-working, so verify against an authoritative local source where that distinction genuinely matters.

Holiday data is fixed to the 2020 to 2032 range and the listed regions only. It is not a live feed, and it does not include every subdivision-specific observance within a given country.
